I remember always going to see Henry Rollins do his spoken word tours and being inspired about his stories and life motto. Travel the world, be creative- play music, draw or paint. Episode 128 - Please welcome to the podcast Newcastle Knights Legend Billy Peden. Billy was born in Cessnock Australia and he played Rugby League for the Cessnock Goanna's with NRL Immortal Andrew Johns and his brother Australian Rep player and TV Personality Matty Johns.. He played for the Newcastle Knights NRL team from 1994- 2002, playing 190 games. Billy won 2 Premierships in 1997 and again in 2001, scoring 2 tries in that game.
He then moved to England to play with the London Broncos. He has also been the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Newcastle Knights. Billy is the ambassador for the Mark Hughes Foundation for research into Brain Cancer. Billy was inducted into the Cessnock Goanna's Team Of The Century in 2011.
