I remember always going to see Henry Rollins do his spoken word tours and being inspired about his stories and life motto. Travel the world, be creative- play music, draw or paint. Episode 48 - Please welcome to the podcast 28 year old Recording Artist Colm Gavin. From Dublin Ireland, Colm signed with Irish Record Label BEO and his first two solo releases "Your Endless Slumber" and "A Voice For The Urban Darling" reached number 1 in the Irish charts. During this time he released "Flamingo Variation Home Recording". Colm has also been played on over 40 stations around the USA and Canada. With a new release due in December along with an International tour. @colmgavin
Here we talk about his approach on creating music, signing to BEO Records, Flamingo Variation Home Recording, his previous bands, Song Writing Master Class, Facebook live gig, transforming from a band to be a solo artist, his rescheduled tour of the USA and Japan and some amazing road stories.
