I remember always going to see Henry Rollins do his spoken word tours and being inspired about his stories and life motto. Travel the world, be creative- play music, draw or paint. Please welcome to the podcast the talented 16 year old Indie Pop Recording Artist Niamh Watson. Born in Scotland now living in the Central Coast Australia, Niamh has been busy in such a short musical career. She was won numerous talent awards and her brand new single "Sugar" (which we heard at the start of the podcast is streaming now). She recently signed with Origin Music Publishing and is currently working on her first album due out next year. This year Niamh played an acoustic live set on Triple M which was broadcasted nation wide. She has also co-written a song with Australian Country Music Singer Gina Jeffrey's. @niamhwatsonmusic
Here we talk about playing live on MMM, How she turned the lock down from a negative to a positive, winning The Star on the Rise Award, her 4 singles, growing up in Scotland, her dad and sister influence, recording at Forbes studios, signing with Origin Music Publishing, dealing with peer pressure, working with Gina Jefferey's and some amazing road stories.
